We’re home at last!

Finally got home earlier this evening. For some reason we got upgraded to business class on the way back so had the luxury of a nearly flat bed to sleep on plus full bar facilities, so after a couple glasses of wine and whisky I think I managed to sleep for a couple of hours. However, for some reason the bottle of 12 year old Glenfiddich I bought in the duty free shop at Lima got confiscated when we reached Madrid. I have no idea why because it was sealed and was clearly showing the receipt. A lad behind me got his booze confiscated as well. I was really pissed off about this as there didn’t seem to be any real reason why they were doing this. The security guy said it only affected flights from Lima. Fortunately it was pretty cheap (about £14 worth) but I was still very annoyed.

My ear still hurts like buggery and I still can’t hear properly so I’m going to see if I can see the doc tomorrow.
