Conservatory Build – Day 13

The plasterer finished off the walls and started work on screeding the floor. He had to mix a hell of a lot of cement. Pete the plumber also turned up to lay the central heating pipes for the two radiators I’ve got turning up next week, and as he couldn’t fit them for me I got him to fit a new radiator on the piller in the kitched, which meant another frantic dash to B&Q. He had to dig up part of the floor to connect into the central heating pipes and was a thoroughly nice chap, in fact everyone’s been really good but it’s a good job I’ve been working from home while they’ve been here to answer any queries and make sure things like radiators and electrical sockets have gone in the right place.

Next step is to let the floor dry out a bit then the sparky is coming back in on Thursday I think.
