Some of the roof panels have been fitted, unfortunately some of them haven’t been delivered but should be turning up tomorrow so the guys weren’t able to finish the whole roof. Fingers crossed it doesn’t rain again as they’ve been having to bail the conservatory out each morning before they start work. You can really see the Pilkington Activ-Blue coating – this is the stuff that is supposed to self clean itself and also reduce the heat coming in during the day and minimise heat loss during the night. We’ll see how good that is when it’s all been finished I guess!
The lead flashing’s been done, the gutters have been attached and all the lower panels have been fitted. The electrician turned up to start putting in the sockets, lights and wiring. Tomorrow they should be taking out the window and door at the back out of the house to leave it all open plan.
Here’s today’s pics…
